Ethos High-Back Velvet Swivel Dining & Accent Chair – Bordeaux

The Ethos High-Back Velvet Swivel Dining Chair brings the presence and comfort of an accent chair to the dining table. Upholstered in rich Bordeaux premium velvet, its exceptionally tall 37-inch back curves gently around the seat, creating an enveloping silhouette with a distinctly high-end, contemporary feel.

Generously proportioned at 28 inches wide, the Ethos is substantially larger and heavier than a typical dining chair. The deep 24-inch seat and supportive high back create a comfortable, lounge-like seating experience, making it equally suited as a luxury dining chair, occasional chair, or statement accent chair in a living room, bedroom, office, or sitting area.

A concealed brushed metal swivel base allows the chair to rotate smoothly to the left and right for easier entry and exit from the table. Rather than continuously rotating 360 degrees, the swivel mechanism returns and locks back into its original forward-facing position, keeping dining arrangements looking neat and aligned.

Finished in deep Bordeaux velvet, the upholstery has a rich oxblood-wine character rather than a bright red appearance. The tailored seams, curved profile and substantial construction give the Ethos the weight and presence expected from a premium piece of furniture.

Designed for contemporary and luxury interiors, the Ethos is an exceptional choice for anyone searching for a high-back velvet dining chair, swivel dining chair, Bordeaux dining chair, oversized dining chair, luxury upholstered dining chair, or modern accent chair.

Does the Ethos Dining Chair swivel 360 degrees?
No. The Ethos swivels smoothly from side to side rather than rotating continuously through 360 degrees. Its return mechanism brings the chair back to its original forward-facing position, helping chairs remain neatly aligned around the dining table.

Can the Ethos be used as an accent chair?
Yes. At 28 inches wide with an exceptionally tall 37-inch back and deep 24-inch seat, the Ethos has the scale and presence of an accent chair. It works beautifully in living rooms, bedrooms, offices and sitting areas as well as dining rooms.

What color is the Bordeaux velvet?
Bordeaux is a deep, sophisticated wine-red with oxblood undertones. It is considerably richer and darker than a bright or true red. As with all velvet, the color may appear slightly lighter or darker depending on lighting and the direction of the velvet pile.

Is the Ethos a heavy dining chair?
Yes. The Ethos is a substantial, heavyweight chair designed with a sturdy construction and metal swivel base. Its scale and weight contribute to its solid, premium feel.

Is velvet suitable for dining chairs?
Yes. Premium velvet provides a soft hand and luxurious appearance while giving the Ethos its rich depth of color. Routine care and prompt attention to spills will help maintain the upholstery.
